We will speak only English during our time together. 

We learn to make sounds in our first language when we are just babies. We listen and then practice making sounds until we can speak. We don’t even realize that we are learning! 

Even though beginning students with minimal vocabulary will not immediately understand every word, I will use gestures and modeling so the students will be able to learn. 

More fluent students will work on pronunciation and expanding their vocabulary and fluency.

We will also spend time on learning about American culture.  So you can be prepared to enjoy our community, help your children, and make more friends.
